Charvi is currently a rising sophomore at Montville township high school. Charvi is an accomplished Bharatanatyam dance student who has been acquiring the skills of this ancient South Indian classical art form under the tutelage of Guru Sudha Dhamodharan since 2014. Dance originally started as a reason to have a playdate with her friends but has since developed into a passion that continues to strengthen. Throughout her journey, she has performed at numerous festivals, events, and temples.
Aside from dance, Charvi loves playing tennis and is a member of her high school team. She is also a member of her school forensics team and has participated in numerous tournaments. She plans to continue both these activities in the future. During her high school freshman year, Charvi has been a member of student council.
Charvi has been learning many other forms of art, as well. She has played piano since the age of six and the flute since fourth grade. Some of her other hobbies include baking, swimming, and spending time with her friends.
As a person, Charvi is a very calm, friendly and compassionate person. Charvi incorporates an element of compassion in her entire approach to life. As an elementary school student, she donated her hair to support the children with hair loss. Along with her friend, she had also raised funds for the Montville first aid squad. As a member of SEWA, she has participated in several community events and fundraising activities. Aside from these, Charvi would like to pursue her higher studies in the STEM field.
